Moët & Chandon Golden Tree 2019

Every year, Studio H produces the annual Moët & Chandon Golden Tree, which marks the start of the festive season in Cape Town. The tree, which is 10m high and made of over 2000 recycled Moët bottles, sits commandingly against the backdrop of Table Mountain at the Silo District, outside the Zeitz MOCAA.

The tree lights up every evening at 20:30 with a unique sequence designed to accompany a lighting and audio show, and will remain up until the 6th of January 2020.

While the project officially launched on 29 November, the team works on the planning of this project for a large portion of the year. Studio H redevelops the concept every year, manages and oversees the build and produces the launch event, along with maintaining the tree throughout the festive period.
